STARTED IN 1965 BY GEORGE FEWELL IN HIS SHED IN HIS BACK GARDEN ON HIS MYFORD LATHE.
FROM THERE HE MOVED INTO PREMISES AT VAUXHALL PLACE IN 1966 WHERE HE STARTED TO BUILD THE COMPANY.
The company was first established in 1966 by George Fewell and was situated in Vauxhall Place, Dartford. As the company grew, a larger premises was required and in 1972 the company relocated to Crayford in Kent. In 1985 George Fewell moved the company to a purpose built building in Victoria Industrial Park, Victoria Road, Dartford where the company remains today.
In 2009 Fewell Precision Ltd acquired the machinery, assets and technology in the production of seaming rolls and seaming chucks of T.A.J. Ltd.
The principle business is the manufacture of precision components and assemblies using materials from Plastics, Brass and Aluminium to sophisticated materials such as High Tensile Steels, Stainless Steels, Tool Steels and Titanium.
